Sapper John Lloyd (Royal Engineers)

Sapper Lloyd of Hick’s Square, Kilnhurst, who belongs to the Royal Engineers Regiment, and has been in hospital suffering from the effects of gas, somewhere in France.

Lloyd was drafted to the front just a week after his enlistment.

He has been at Kilnhurst for a few day’s leave this week. He will be better known to a good many as “Domino.”
