Private G.W.Kendall

Mrs E Wilkinson has received information that her adopted son private G.W.Kendall (York and Lancaster) is believed dead.

He was reported wounded and missing on September 24, 1916. Since then nothing has been heard of him, and the War Office conclude that he is dead.

He enlisted in May 1915. In September 1915 he went to the Dardanelles and stayed there until the evacuation, when he went to Egypt, and from there to France.
