Kilnhurst has England Champion

Sergeant Ronnie James, of the seventh Battalion Army Cadet Force, of Wharf Rd, Kilnhurst became 11 stone 6 pounds Cadet champion for All England when he defeated Cadet Woodgate of the 1st Battalion of the Middlesex Regiment at the Albert Hall, London on Wednesday.

The fight was stopped by the referee in the second round after James had landed heavy blows to his opponent’s face.
