Kerry’s Winner

Kilnhurst  2  Thurcroft  1 

Kilnhurst, with more sting in their attack, beat Thurcroft 2-1 in a Sheffield Association League match at Kilnhurst on Saturday.

With first team goalkeeper Dungworth still unfit, Kilnhurst fielded Vickers in goal after his good game on Thursday against Wath.

Harpham went near to scoring after the kick-off with a header, but in the tenth minute MOON (A.), Thurcroft inside-right, gave them the lead. After twenty-five minutes KIRK equalised for Kilnhurst.

In the closing minutes KERRY, Kilnhurst leader, scored the winner with a hard, low drive.
