Friends In Need.

The subscription list which was opened recently for the benefit of Randall Wilson. of Highthorn who had the misfortune to lose his horse a few weeks ago and was thus deprived of one of his chief means of livelihood, has now been closed, sufficient money having been collected to purchase a new horse.

Mrs. W. Newham and Mrs. J. Tingle, of Highthorn who have been mainly responsible for the collection, have been untiring in their efforts and it is mainly due to them that such a gratifying response has been made to the appeal.

Mr. Wilson is much touched by the splendid generosity which has been shown on his behalf and begs to thank all the people who have contributed.
