Drowning of a Forge Workman

On Thursday, T Badger Esq held an inquest at the Ring of Bells, Kilnhurst on the body of John Shaw, a workman at the Forge, who, when stepping from the bridge into the forge yard, unfortunately fell into the water and was drowned.

The Jury found a verdict of accidental death.
