A Kilnhurst Scene.

At a special of the South Yorkshire Cricket League, held at Swinton, Brampton complained that their players had been barracked and mobbed at Kilnhurst on August 23rd.

This was denied by Kilnhurst, whose delegate said there was thing more than horseplay by children. The chairman warned Kilnhurst against permitting hostility to visiting teams.

Kilnhurst lodged an objection to the result of the same match, alleging that E. Marshall a Brampton player, lived outside the league area.

The case was adjourned for Marshall to bring proof his address.
