The wedding took place at Kilnhurst Parish Church on Sunday of Miss Lilian May Sales, daughter of Mrs. Sales and the late Mr. J. Sales, of 2, Apollo Street, Rawmarsh, to Mr. Harry Oliver, son of Mrs. H. Oliver, Mr. and of 18, Charles Street, Kilnhurst.

The Rev. E. J. Cheverton officiated at the choral ceremony, when the hymn ” Peaceful night, holy night,” was sung. The organist was Mr. A. Woffinden.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. J. Sales, wore a gown of white lace over white taffeta with veil and wreath, and carried red tulips, white heather and fern.
