A dusky pink French crepe two- piece with n—-r brown accessories was worn by Miss Maud Firth, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Firth, 7, Charles Street. Kilnhurst, for her wedding at Kilnhurst Parish Church on Christmas Day to Mr. Arthur Wilkinson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Wilkinson, 21, Charles Street, Kilnhurst.

The bridegroom is serving with the Royal Engineers.

The bride was given away by her father and carried cream roses. She was presented with a sliver horseshoe by Doreen Shaw. The bridesmaid was Miss Gwen Kilby, in a pale blue two-piece with burgundy accessories and carrying pink chrysanthemums. The bridegroom gave the bridesmaid a handbag.

The best man was Mr. A. Eccles, and the groomsmen were Messrs. H. Eccles and W. A. Bailey. Among the gifts was a case of fish eaters and table cloth from colleagues at Baker’s and Bessemer’s, where the bride is employed.
