On Leave In Cairo.

Mrs . Newton, of 109, Meadow View Road, Kilnhurst, received a letter on Monday from her husband, Spr. John Newton (27), saying he had recently spent seven days leave in Cairo, and had an interesting and enjoyable time

Spr. Newton, who is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newton Leeds Road, Newton Hill, Wakefield, has been In the Army Just over two years, and was sent to the Middle East about twelve months ago.
