Brothers-In-Law
Brothers-in-law serving in the Army are Pte. Alfred Baguley (25) (picture) , youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Baguley, of 17 Greenwood Road. Kilnhurst, and Pte. Isaac Arthur Fearns (34), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fearns, Alsop Yard, Blacker Hill.
Pte. Baguley, who is in the Yorks and Lancs. Regiment, was called up last May. He was educated at Kilnhurst Council School and was formerly an assistant at Thrybergh Golf Club.
Pte. Fearns was called up last November. He was a keen sportsman and is well known in Hoyland. He was captain Blacker Hill Cricket Club for ‘several seasons. Before being called up he was employed at Tinsley Park Colliery.
He is married, has two sons, and lives at 37. Stone Row, Piccadilly, Swinton.
