Men’s Unanimous Decision

The strike of engineers at the steelworks of Mess’s. John Baker and Bessemer at Kilnhurst was ended by a unanimous decision of A.E.U. members at a meeting at the Ship Inn, Swinton, on Friday. Work was resumed on Monday, and it was learned yesterday that there had been no outstanding development during the week.

It was understood last week-end that the joint dilution committee was to meet within seven days to consider the matters leading to the stoppage.

The dilution comittee referred to consists of representatives of the Employers’ Association and the A.E.U.
