Kilnhurst To Australia

After a three month visit to Kilnhurst, Miss Olive E. Globe left the township yesterday on the first stage of her return journey to Australia.

26 Years ago she emigrated to Australia and this her first visit to England since.

Although she flew here Miss Globe is returning by sea and today she sails from London on M.S. Orion. Miss Globe agrees that she has been very fortunate experiencing a perfect English summer. Letters she has received from friends in Australia show pat she has missed one of the worst winters the country has ever experienced. The fall of snow has been the heaviest for 15 Years.

“I shall never forget the beauty of your English spring, Miss Globe said this week. “We have nothing like it in Australia.”

The original purpose behind Miss Globe’s visit was to see her father, Mr George Globe, with whom she has been staying at his home in Thorne Rd, Kilnhurst.
