Haulage Hands’ Wages.
Prompt Settlement of Thrybergh Hall Pit Dispute.
A stoppage, on Tuesday, at the Thrybergh Hall Colliery, Kilnhurst, was a sequel to a wages dispute originally affecting 12 haulage hands of the Parkgate seam of the pit, and other underground youths came out in sympathy.
It was expected to be followed by a resumption of work this morning, thanks to the terms of settlement agreed yesterday at a joint conference of representatives of the Yorkshire Miners’ Association and the proprietors of the colliery, Messrs. Stewart and Lloyd’s.
