Girl’s Success

Fifteen-year-old Anne Taylor, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Taylor are well known Kilnhurst people, is a member of the Blaenavon (Monmouthshire) Colliery Band and is believed to be one of the few bands-women in South Wales.

In October she won her first competition, a slow melody contest, from 20 competitors.

This was her first attempt and she is keenly anticipating entering further competitions.
