Here are four generations of a Kilnhurst family headed by Mr. H. Parkin of 19, Thomas Street, Kilnhurst.

Mr. Parkin was well known in both Kilnhurst and Mexborough as a footballer and played for the old Kilnhurst Town F.C., and helped them to win many competitions including the Montagu Cup.

His daughter, Mrs. J. Rickard is the second family link, and her daughter, Mrs. E. Windle and her son Brian complete the quartet.
