Due from Malaya

Private John Benton, fourth son of Mr L Benton and the late Mr. Fred Benton,of 21, Greenwoon Road. Kilnhurst is expected home from Malaya towards the end of May.

Private Benton, who has served with the West Yorkshire Regiment in Malaya for 16 months, celebrated his 20^th birthday on April 27^th.

He was previously employed at Yorkshire Tar Distillers Ltd., Kilnhurst.
