Better Times At Baker’s

Two Big Orders for Next Two Months.

The prospects of work at John Baker’s Kilnhurst works are better at the moment than they have been for some time. Orders have been received for 1700 pairs of wheels and axles for India, and 1400 wheels for shipment to South Australia.

This will mean more regular work for all the men at the Kilnhurst works during the next two months, though not full-time working.
