Last Tribute to Councillor T Beighton
Funeral at Kilnhurst
Many Mourners

The funeral of Councillor Thomas Beighton (63), of13, Hooton Road, Kilnhurst,   who died last Thursday, took place on Sunday afternoon at Kilnhurst Parish Church.

The long cortege from the house which followed to the Church testified to the great respect in which Coun. Beighton was held. Every organisation with which he was connected was represented both by mourners and floral tributes.

The service in the Parish Church was conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. E. J. Cheverton, B.A.

The bearers were members of the Kilnhurst Working Men’s Club, of which Coun. Beighton had been a member for many years: Messrs. Manion, G. Rogers, J. Waning, E. Fisher, W. Thompson, and J. Pickering.
