Drunk at Kilnhurst
William Henry Shaw, miner, of Kilnhurst, pleaded guilty to being drunk at Kilnhurst, on the 13th uIt
Sergeant Woods said he found the defendant on the highway, in a drunken condition.
A fine of 3s, and costs was inflicted.
Drunk at Swinton
Robert Steele, labourer, of Swinton, who did not appear, and been summoned for having been drunk on the highway at Swinton Bridge, on the 12th ult.
Constable Hewitt to seeing the defendant under the influence of drink.
Derendant was represented by his wife.—Fined 5s. and costs.
Obscene Language at West Melton
John Lawton, miner, of West Melton, had been summoned for using obscene language.
On the 12th ult. Police-constable Pickering saw the defendant in the street at West Melton. He was using language of a disgusting character.
Major Hammond said the defendant was before the court in 1885 for having used obscene language.
Fined 5s, and costs, or ten days in this default.
