Drowning Fatality.

While working on dredger at the junction of the River Don and the canal at Kilnhurst, yesterday, George Hanstock (38), of 10, Orchard street Mexborough apparently fell into the water.

Men in the engine room, hearing a shout, went deck and found Hanstock missing. His cap was seen floating on the water.

Dragging operations were commenced and the body of Hanstock was recovered about 15 minutes later.
