Knocked Off Boilers.

Mexborough Man Killed at Kilnhurst Forge.

An inquest will be held today (Friday) at the Montagu Hospital on William Binney,

a boiler fireman, of 16, Dodsworth Street, Mexborough, who died at the hospital on Tuesday.

On Monday, while following his employment at the Kilnhurst Steel Works, he was struck by a travelling crane and was knocked off the boilers. He fell 23 feet to the ground.

He was attended by Dr. Lee, of Swinton, and later removed to the hospital. He had a broken jaw and double fracture of the arm. Death was due to shock following the injuries.
