The wedding took place on Saturday at the Parish Church, the Rev. E. J. Cheverton officiating, of Miss Marjorie Elaine Goodwin. youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Goodwin, of 56, Hooton Road, to Mr. John Thomas Allinson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Allinson, of Thrybergh Park, near Rotherham.

The bride, given away by her father, wore a parchment satin gown cut in Princess Marina style with gold trimmings, and train. She carried a shower bouquet of pink carnations.
