Singular Fatality At Kilnhurst.

Yesterday morning, considerable excitement was caused in Kilnhurst in consequence of Mr. Wm. Stores, of Kilnhurst Hall, being found dead in a ditch in the neighbourhood.

He had been at the house of a friend on the previous evening, and left at about ten o’clock. In his pockets was a sum of money amounting to more than £80.

The former husband of the deceased’s wife was found drowned in a similar manner in the immediate neighbourhood.
