Golden Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. J. Spencer, of 70, Charles Street, Kilnhurst, celebrate their Golden Wedding tomorrow (Saturday).

They were married at Kilnhurst Parish Church on August 1st, 1892. Mr. Spencer, who is 72, was, born at Liverpool and after living at Klrkburton, Huddersfield, came to work at Kilnhurst Colliery. He later kept a milk business for 33 years, retiring 21 years ago.

Mrs. Spencer is 70 and was born at Kilnhurst. Both are members of the Bethel Church, Mr. Spencer having held every office in the Church and Sunday school.

They have had six children, five of whom are living, eight grandchildren, one of whom is a prisoner of war in Italy, and a great grand child.
